We find this unit very useful beyond camping. It is a great way to bring home leftovers from restaurants, eliminating plastic or paper containers that are not recyclable, reducing our environmental footprint. These mess kits seal tightly, and are dishwasher safe.

I own a lot of pocket knives and I carry 1 or 2 daily. I own at least 8 Benchmade knives, but I find myself on a daily basis taking your knife along. It's very light very quick to open

This is my third Esbit pocket stove (I have the small and medium too) and as expected I like it a lot. Obviously it's more stable with bigger containers and you can really pack in the solid fuel pucks if so desired. It also fits snugly in the Pathfinder MOLLE canteen bags' front pocket. Cool. My one quibble is why they don't include the little windscreen like they do with the medium size. It fits in the large just like in the medium, no problem. Anyway it's not advertised as containing the little windscreen so I won't take off a star. But still, why not?
