These cups are great. They are a great size that is a great balance between optimizing space saving and being big enough to satisfy. The fact that they nest easily inside the mess kit is a bonus for backpacking. I have and use one of these. My teenage daughter and son, both Life Scouts. use them as well as my wife.
One of the most durable and ingenious grill tools ive owned.
Brass Uco candle lantern is a must have. Love it!
I added this to my rotation to try something new and I really like it. My Holy Grail knife is the Benchmade mini griptilian (557) and this Hannegan compares really well to it at about half the price. The lock is solid, it opens one handed smoothly, and the steel is good quality. Zero blade play. If I have one complaint, it's that the G10 has stained a little bit either from my jeans or some oil. I also got some spray paint on it which you can see in the photo, but oh well. The red color is nice and a bit more fashionable than the rest of my black options.
This is a nice knife, it jas a very sharp blade. Its a great “pocket” knife. Although the blade doesnt have a lock ot does snap firmly into place and should not close on the user. I like the orange color and the feel of the handle. A nice solid knife.
Arrived in a reasonable time frame. Box partially taped. Bug inside.
'Easy to clean. No silicone seals to reduce leakage, so that is not a cleaning task.
Very sharp and easy to handle, nice little sheath for drawer storage.
Lightweight but sturdy. Just the right size to stowaway in my pack. High quality!
I didn’t think I needed another knife, but this one actually replaced the one I’ve been carrying for years. It’s easy to open one-handed, feels really secure, and isn’t bulky in my pocket. I’ve used it for everything from breaking down boxes to quick camp tasks, and it just works every time. The Lava Red color is a nice touch too—easy to spot and looks really good without feeling over the top
This is the kind of knife you end up carrying every day without thinking about it. It opens smooth, locks in solid, and just feels right in hand. Not intimidating, not overbuilt—just a reliable, go-to tool that handles everything from opening boxes to camp prep.
I ordered 2 sets of the 6 piece mess kit. I like the 6 piece because you get a small collapsible cup that's sturdy, sits well on all surfaces and doesn't slip nor does it tip over easily. The cups have a comfortable handle that also has a tether hole for carrying literally anywhere you can tie it to. This makes it great for on the go & also if you don't want to use disposable plastic cups. They also rinse very well with just plain water to change out beverages if you don't have dish soap on hand. The plate & bowl combo also offer the unique feature of not slipping off of surfaces and can actually fit a good amount of food in them either as one dish with the container closed for taking food with you, or even to use at home. They hold hot, warm or cold food extremely well without leaving a plastic taste on your food. They also pack very well since they fit together and they also come in pretty colors so they look even nicer when placed on your table or on the go to add a touch of aestheticism to your everyday life. The camp cup also fits nested into the plate and bowl. Oh, I almost forgot, the utensil set is very sturdy and you don't have to worry about things slipping out of your hands either. They fit very comfortably in your hands (right or left) and also have a good grip. They pierce and cut just as well as regular metal utensils do. Overall, I'd highly recommend these mess kits for literally ANYwhere you are going to eat your own prepared foods.
Dependable fire starter alternative.
